"An absolutely humbling experience. Being that close to a 40-tonne creature with the Sydney skyline on the horizon is something I'll never forget. The crew's reverence for the ocean was infectious."

Our sighting rate is over 98% during peak season, but nature is nature. If no whales are spotted on your cruise, we'll bring you back on any future departure within the same season — completely free.
Cruises depart from Eastern Pontoon, Circular Quay — a two-minute walk from Circular Quay train station and the Sydney Opera House.
The Sydney humpback migration runs from May through November. June and July are best for northern migration, while September and October offer the chance to see mothers with calves heading south.
Our partnered catamarans are engineered for stability, but if you're prone to motion sickness we recommend taking a preventative 30 minutes before boarding. Calmer seas typical of morning departures help, too.
Absolutely. We welcome ocean lovers of all ages, with full safety railings on every deck and an enclosed climate-controlled lounge for younger guests.
Layers (it's cooler on the water), a windbreaker, polarised sunglasses, sunscreen, and a camera. We provide complimentary tea, coffee and light snacks on board.
